Many Celtic supporters have flocked to social media in order to respond to one of the club’s recent social media posts.
The Hoops announced they would be making a donation of £10,000 to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity as part of their annual Christmas campaign but the replies section was hijacked by angry supporters.
Neil Lennon’s side currently find themselves 13 points behind their Old Firm rivals in the Scottish Premiership and if they’re unable to overturn the deficit, they will miss out on the opportunity to win their 10th league title in a row.
How have these Celtic supporters responded to the club’s post on Twitter?
The players should donate a large amount of their wages if they had any dignity the way they have performed this season.
Frauds.

Yeah how much could you give if you sacked Lennon and gave his wage?!

Were the fans wrong to hijack this post with negativity?
Yes
No
Don’t care

These supporters took the opportunity to make their feelings known about the club’s current situation despite the post having nothing to do with the recent performances on the pitch.
This can only serve to demonstrate just how disappointed the supporters are with the club’s lack of success so far this season as their hopes of securing what would be a historic league title look desperately bleak.
Celtic have won just one of their last five league fixtures and therefore you can understand why there is so much discontent around the club at present.
