Many Celtic fans have been fuming at a video involving Neil Lennon that recently emerged on social media.
Lennon’s men recently picked up a 2-0 win over Ross County in the Premiership. Goals from Leigh Griffiths and David Turnbull made sure that the Hoops stayed 16 points away from the top of the table, having played three games less (as per BBC Sport).
Are Neil Lennon's comments repetitive?
Yes
No
After the game though, the Celtic Twitter account relayed a Youtube link of Lennon’s post-match interview. In the interview, Lennon said that he was pleased with the quality of chances that the team created and if the Hoops keep playing in the same manner, they could well give teams ‘a right good going over‘.
This tweet about Lennon’s interview drew the attention of many Celtic fans, who were fuming at what the manager had to say.

Like watching paint dry these days. Trying to be positive but game plan very predictable
That was laboured, at best.

How cringeworthy is that statement? The words of a man desperately clinging to job. Makes me Sad and angry. Just go!
The Hoops have now won their last two Premiership games and before their win against Ross County, they had beaten Kilmarnock 2-0. They had also won the Scottish Cup from the 2019/20 campaign by beating Hearts in the final on penalties recently (as per Transfermarkt).
Against Ross County, the Bhoys registered as many as 24 shots on goal and seven of them were on target. It suggests that the performance was certainly a very good one. Some other Celtic fans also flocked to the tweet involving Lennon.

Delusional
Celtic picked up a rating of 7.19 in the game against Ross County and completed 16 dribbles as well. That is again a reflection of the fact that the performance was pretty good and they deserved to win too.
If the Hoops register around 24 shots on goal regularly though, they might just increase their chances of winning. So it is easy to understand Lennon’s comments, in this case.
