Some Celtic fans have been fuming at an injury update involving Christopher Jullien that recently emerged on social media.

Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph has recently relayed an update about Jullien’s injury. The Frenchman was stretchered off in Celtic’s 3-0 win over Dundee United in the Premiership. Joseph’s tweet stated that the defender has some bruising and swelling around his knee area and Celtic will assess him for fitness before the upcoming Old Firm derby.

Jullien had suffered a back injury earlier in the season, as he had missed as many as 13 games in all competitions. To get rid of the issue, the Frenchman had gone to Germany to seek a specialist and get some treatment done.
