Many Celtic fans have flocked to a video involving Neil Lennon that recently emerged on social media.
The official Celtic Twitter account relayed a video involving Lennon following the Hoops’ 4-2 loss to Milan at San Siro in the group stages of the Europa League.
In the video, Lennon said that he is proud of the players for their performance and the manner in which they reacted to the loss to Ross County. He said that he is ‘very pleased’ with some things that he saw from the Hoops and they were ‘excellent’ at times too.
Did Celtic come up with a good performance against Milan?
Yes
No
The tweet involving this video caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who began talking about what Lennon had to say.
What did Celtic fans make of this video involving Neil Lennon?
We’re in a truly horrible situation right now.
Win against St Johnstone and we limp on with a poor management team way out of it’s depth. Draw or lose and the league is lost for a new management team.
This could’ve been avoided if the shambolic board had never appointed Lennon.

This whole nonsense has to stop now in a dignified manner for everyone at the club supporters included HH ?????

There’s little to no positives at all. Losing 4-2 from 2-0 up, letting in 4 goals for the 3rd EL game in a row, worst run of form since 2007 and the worst defensive record out of 48 teams in the competition

The Hoops had found themselves 2-0 up at San Siro in the first 15 minutes of the game, but they conceded twice in the first half and ended up letting in two more goals in the second half.
Celtic have now won only two games out of their last 11 outings and they are yet to win even once in the group stages of the Europa League this season (as per Whoscored). Some other Celtic fans also flocked to the video involving Lennon.
Neil Lennon embarrassing Celtic once again.

Honestly how can the board no identify from this interview that he’s not the man to win ten in a row https://t.co/es2HJUUDgi

This man infuriates me and the fact he won’t step down is so selfish https://t.co/tiA9bBBxPv

What other manager would say “we were breathtaking” off the back of shipping another 4 goals…embarrassing https://t.co/ecIqK8p0r1

Should have been sacked for many reasons but calling Barkas, “Barky”, has got to be his worst offence https://t.co/Lh0Xpo64j5

The Hoops picked up a rating of 6.42 in the game on Thursday, but Milan picked up a much higher rating of 6.96. Lennon’s men came up with as many as 14 attempts on goal – as many as Milan. They even had the same amount of shots on target (as per Whoscored).
So while the Hoops had a lesser rating than Milan, they did match the Rossoneri when it comes to shots on goal. Because of that, it wasn’t a bad performance from Celtic and Lennon is right to draw some positives from it.
