Many Celtic fans have been talking about a video involving Brendan Rodgers that recently emerged on social media.
Robbie Savage recently relayed a tweet and it carried a video involving Rodgers speaking as part of the ex-Leicester City midfielder’s ‘Talent Takes Practice’ podcast.
Rodgers said that he’s always been about having one club and one vision and he pours everything into the club that he is managing. He said that managing Celtic was ‘different’ for him, as compared to Liverpool because he had a connection with the Hoops as a child and he understood the passion that fans have for the Parkhead-based club.
Are Celtic fans right to criticise Rodgers?
Yes
No
Savage’s video caught the attention of many Celtic fans who made their opinions clear about Rodgers.
What did Celtic fans make of this video involving Rodgers?
No doubt he was brilliant at Celtic and got the results but his stubbornness to change or adapt his formation and philosophy led to some hidings in Europe and some boring stuff to watch domestically.

He’s all about himself. First and last.

He is all about Brendan FC first & foremost…..

Rodgers had joined Celtic in the summer of 2016, but he departed the club in February 2019 to join Leicester City. When Rodgers had left the club, Celtic fans had unveiled a banner against him, calling Rodgers a ‘fraud’.
The 47-year-old had later said that he understood the frustration of the Celtic fans and if he had to make a decision with his heart, he would have chosen to stay at Parkhead (as per the Daily Mail).
Some other Celtic fans also made their anger clear for the Northern Irishman.
Professional fibber.

The best current British manager?
Good at Liverpool, magnificent at Celtic and Leicester; his stubbornness (refusal to adopt a more cautious approach) cost Celtic a few euro hidings, he seems to have addressed that at Leicester.
A move to another ‘big club’ beckons. Arsenal?

A majority of these Celtic fans don’t have a positive opinion for Rodgers and they are making it very clear.
The 47-year-old though, helped the club win a total of two Premiership titles and two Scottish Cups. It was under him that the Hoops won the ‘Invincible’ treble in the 2016/17 season. So clearly, Rodgers was quite an influential character at Parkhead and he deserves respect for that.
