Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

Turnbull joined Celtic from Motherwell in the summer transfer window for a fee of up to £3.25 million. The move came about 14 months after an initial switch to Parkhead had fallen through as his medical had indicated that the midfielder needed surgery on his knee (as per BBC Sport).

While the strike against Lille was his first goal for Celtic, he had netted once for Motherwell in the Premiership earlier in the campaign.

His tweet left many other Celtic fans talking as they made their admiration clear for him.

These Celtic fans believe that Turnbull has a bright future ahead of him and they are looking forward to seeing him play more often.

He picked up the highest rating in the game for the Hoops. Apart from having scored the goal, the 21-year-old played three key passes in the game and completed one dribble (as per WhoScored). He is currently valued at £1.62m according to Transfermarkt.

So it was clearly an impressive performance from him on Thursday. With the Hoops struggling in the Premiership, perhaps it is now time to give Turnbull more minutes in the league.
