Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

Frimpong had joined Celtic from Manchester City in the summer of 2019 for a fee of £342k. He is a product of the Man City youth academy (as per Transfermarkt). He has also been linked with a move to Southampton.

The report about Roma’s interest in him claims that Man City inserted a 30 per cent sell on when he departed. This means that if Roma do meet Celtic’s asking price, City could earn around £4 million from the transfer (as per the Daily Record).

Some other Celtic fans also discussed the news about the Dutch youngster.

Some of these Celtic fans feel that Roma would have to pay a higher fee to sign Frimpong, whenever they try to sign him.

Having said that, if Roma do meet Celtic’s asking price of £13.5 million, the Hoops would make a huge profit from Frimpong’s sale. And they could reinvest that money to replace the 20-year-old. So selling Frimpong at this point wouldn’t be a bad idea for the Bhoys.
