Many Celtic fans have recently been discussing a tweet involving Ryan Christie that recently emerged on social media.
The official Celtic Twitter account posted about the fact that Christie recently sat down with the CelticView for the Christmas edition of the magazine while taking time out from the club’s Christmas ad. The tweet included a link to an article which had the interview with the Scottish midfielder.
Should Celtic sell Christie in January?

The tweet involving Christie drew the attention of many Celtic fans, who gave their opinion about the Hoops star and his approach to the game.

Christie, 25, has been a regular for the Bhoys this season. In the Premiership, the midfielder has played 14 games and has scored three goals, while picking up six assists. In the club’s Europa League campaign in the group stages, Christie played five games and picked up a couple of assists (as per Transfermarkt).
While Christie’s numbers show that he’s an important player for the Bhoys, some other Celtic fans also gave a negative opinion about him.
He wants to leave seemingly. Sell him

Some of these Celtic fans clearly want Christie gone from the club. Having said that, he has been the club’s highest-rated player in the current campaign with a rating of 7.66/10 (as per WhoScored).
This also suggests that the 25-year-old is a key player for the Bhoys. While he has been linked with moves to Burnley and French side Nice, selling Christie in January wouldn’t make sense for the Hoops considering how vital he has been this season.
