Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest update involving Jeremie Frimpong that recently emerged on social media.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon has recently provided an update about Frimpong, who suffered an injury in the club’s Europa League game against Lille on Thursday. He was taken off after 30 minutes and was replaced by Ewan Henderson.
Do Celtic need to protect Frimpong more?
Yes
No
When asked about how Frimpong is doing, Lennon revealed that the young Dutchman is fine and he should be available for Celtic’s upcoming Premiership game against Kilmarnock on Sunday.
The video about Lennon’s update was relayed on Twitter by the Celtic Twitter account. Hoops fans flocked to the tweet.
What did Celtic fans make of Lennon’s comments?
Could you not have posted it so I didn’t have to listen to him?

While Frimpong was taken off in the first half, the young Dutchman had helped Celtic win a penalty that Callum McGregor converting to make it 2-1 (as per The Scotsman).

Some of these Celtic fans are relieved about the injury update and one fan wants Lennon to pick the same team against Kilmarnock as he did against Lille.
Frimpong has completed the joint-fifth-highest number of dribbles per game in the Premiership for Celtic this season. He has also completed the fourth-highest number of key passes for the Bhoys in the league campaign (as per WhoScored).
So he is clearly an important player for the Bhoys and the fact that he is fit is certainly good news for Celtic.
