Celtic picked up their fourth consecutive Scottish Cup title on Sunday afternoon, as they beat Heart of Midlothian on penalties.

The Hoops held their nerve from the spot after a tense affair at Hampden Park. One player that played his part in the win over Hearts was midfielder David Turnbull, as he played 68 minutes of the game before being substituted.

The 21-year-old took to Twitter following the win and was clearly delighted to add some silverware to his personal collection.

Plenty of Celtic supporters took to social media to react to his performance in the final, and it’s fair to say that they were impressed with what they saw.

Take a look at the best of the reaction from Twitter below…

Celtic fans are clearly of the opinion that Turnbull is fully deserving of his medal, despite the club enduring a tough run of form this season, with their weekend performance against Championship opposition perhaps demonstrating that further.

So to still get the approval of plenty of the Celtic fanbase should give Turnbull plenty of encouragement as he picked up his first major honour with the Hoops.
