Celtic picked up a much-needed win in the Scottish Premiership, as they beat Kilmarnock 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

But they look the lead against Killie on Sunday through Mohamed Elyounoussi, before Shane Duffy fired home to make it 2-0 after 70 minutes.

David Turnbull, who received a 7/10 for his performance (Glasgow Times), was on hand to provide the assist for Duffy’s goal, and the midfielder caught the eye with an impressive performance on the day.

He now has two goals and three assists to his name from his 14 appearances for Neil Lennon’s side, and will be hoping that he can continue to impress as this year’s campaign progresses.

Celtic will be 13 points adrift of arch rivals Rangers after this win over Kilmarnock, and will be hoping they can put together a positive run of results heading into the festive period.

A number of Celtic supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on Turnbull’s recent showing against Kilmarnock. Take a look at the best of the reaction below.

Turnbull and his Celtic team-mates are set to return to action next weekend, when they take on Hearts in the Scottish Cup final, in what could potentially be a tricky test for the Bhoys.

However, for now, fans can relish the three points their side have secured, with David Turnbull clearly a favourite at this moment in time.
