A number of Celtic fans have taken to social media to voice their frustrations over the performance of defender Kristoffer Ajer so far in their match against Kilmarnock.

The Bhoys are currently locked in battle with Killie, and will be hoping they can get back to winning ways at the earliest of opportunities, with the pressure firmly on manager Neil Lennon.

The Norwegian defender signed for Celtic back in 2016, and has gone on to make 152 appearances in total for the Scottish giants, who will be desperate to put together a positive run of results at the earliest of opportunities..

Neil Lennon’s side went into their game against Kilmarnock 16 points adrift of league-leaders Rangers, after Steven Gerrard’s side beat Dundee United in the early kick-off on Sunday.

But Ajer’s performance certainly wasn’t convincing for Celtic supporters in the first-half, with plenty of the Celtic Park faithful taking to Twitter to issue their verdict on the 22-year-old.

Indeed, the defender, who is valued at £3.6 million (as per Transfermarkt), appears to have angered quite a few Celtic fans during the first-half, with his passing being one of the vocal points.

Perhaps fans will be hoping that the Norwegian can produce another assist if his passing improves in the second-half after putting a ball on a plate for David Turnbull.
