Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

One topic that was discussed in great detail was potential replacements for Neil Lennon, and Graham started talking about Sean Dyche and revealed that he believes the current Burnley boss would never go up to Scotland to take over at Celtic Park.

He said: (27:35) “Would Sean Dyche leave Burnley to come to Celtic? Not a hope.

“Not that I am saying I want Sean Dyche to manage Celtic, but if you are looking for a manager who has done well in the [Premier League] with an unfancied side, then Sean Dyche is maybe the same as Brendan Rodgers.

“Sean Dyche wouldn’t leave Burnley to come to Celtic because there is no emotional attachment.”

Do you think Dyche would move to Celtic?

TIF Thoughts on Graham’s view on Dyche…

Since Dyche got Burnley promoted from the Championship in the 2015/16 season, the Clarets have achieved finishes of 16th, 7th, 15th, and 10th.

So, a pretty solid record, and there were also reports that he was unhappy in the summer, so if Celtic were to come calling, you would think he might consider it.

This is because the Bhoys are a huge club and have been successful in Europe, while Burnley do not have that history.

However, we do see Graham’s point that Dyche would not consider a move up to Scotland because he doesn’t have any emotional attachment to the club.

Still, surely if Celtic were to offer the job to Dyche, he would consider it?

It is interesting that Graham used Dyche as an example, considering he has not been linked with the Celtic job, but we feel that if the Bhoys were to offer him the role, he would consider it because of how big Celtic are as a club.
