In-the-know podcaster @ExWHUemployee has revealed that there have been no transfer offers made for West Ham United players despite rumours surfacing.

According to a recent report from TEAMtalk, the Hammers are set to offer Tomas Soucek a ‘bumper’ new deal at the London Stadium.

That is due to the fact that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are supposedly ‘monitoring‘ the midfielder alongside some other ‘European big hitters‘.

The report on the supposed impending contract offer comes less than half a year after the Irons permanently sealed the arrival of the Czech Republic middleman on a four-year deal from Slavia Prague (per Sky Sports).

In the latest episode of The West Ham Way Podcast, @ExWHUemployee claimed that no bids have been made for any West Ham players, including Soucek. (1:02:08)

Who did West Ham United face in their opening fixture of the 2020/21 Premier League season?

He said: “In terms of players leaving us, there’s been talk that Bayern Munich, of all clubs, are going to be coming in for Soucek.

“I have been told that there [have] been no offers for any of our players recently or any enquiries.

“So, that includes maybe [Ryan] Fredericks, [Andriy] Yarmolenko, people like that, [Robert] Snodgrass, Soucek – no offers or any enquiries.”

TIF Thoughts on what @ExWHUemployee said about transfer offers…

As can be seen in what the in-the-know podcaster had to say, it would seem that there has not been an enquiry made about the availability of any West Ham players prior to the January transfer window.

Would you be open to selling Tomas Soucek in January for the right price?

No, he has to stay

No, he has to stay

Yes, for the right price

Yes, for the right price

Of the four players listed by the podcaster, Soucek will likely come as the biggest relief for West Ham supporters as he has been a key player for them this season.

Over 12 Premier League appearances, in which he has scored three goals, Soucek has earned an impressive 7.21/10 average rating, making him West Ham’s best-performing player (per WhoScored).

So, if the Irons can keep hold of the midfielder in January despite the supposed interest from Bayern Munich, that would be a big positive for the London Stadium outfit.
