How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

One of the topics that he spent a little bit of time on was Serge Aurier, who was up against Sadio Mane and, apart from one moment when Mane spun him (2:18), did a pretty decent job and earned a solid 7.2 rating from WhoScored and a 8/10 rating from Football.London.

Brown, though was full of praise for Aurier’s display.

He said: “Serge Aurier was absolutely outstanding [on Wednesday night].

“The way that Aurier handled [Mane] was absolutely fantastic.

“The progression that he has made has been absolutely outstanding.

“The way he is able to use his body to win fouls, he is able to get us out of difficult situations.

“He has just come so far as a player, and he was just so switched on, and that’s what you’ve got to have when you are playing in a system like that.”

Were you impressed by Aurier?

TIF Thoughts on Aurier’s display…

Aurier, who is valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, was solid for Spurs, and this was just one of a number of solid Premier League displays that he has turned in this season.

However, even last season, he was good in the league and ended the season as Spurs’ third-highest rated player, so it is interesting to see him continue this sort of form and at the moment, he is keeping Matt Doherty out of the side in the league, having played all of Spurs’ last five league games.

So, he is in good form, and he played well against Liverpool, and we feel that Aurier has improved this season, and at the moment, we would continue to pick him ahead of Doherty.
