How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

One of the players that he spoke about was Christian Eriksen, who is not happy at Inter and the Serie A club are willing to let him go in the upcoming transfer window.

This led McGarry to reveal one potential destination for the Dane that might annoy some Tottenham Hotspur fans.

He said: “I was speaking to someone very close to Christian Eriksen regarding his future.

“Now, speaking to this person who is close to Eriksen, I was told that he is slightly concerned about the possibility of crossing the north London divide, having been a Tottenham player and very much a Tottenham favourite for many years, and going to Arsenal.

“However, such is his particular situation and circumstance that he wouldn’t rule it out.”

Would you be annoyed by this?

TIF Thoughts on Eriksen potentially joining Arsenal…

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to the Gunners, but after making 305 appearances for Spurs, scoring 69 goals, and providing 89 assists, maybe it wouldn’t go down well with many Spurs fans.

The summer before Eriksen left Spurs, he also claimed that he wanted a new challenge now we don’t think a move back to London to play for Arsenal is a new challenge, and surely he would be going back on what he said in 2019.

However, if McGarry is right, then he has not ruled out a move to the Emirates, although we really don’t think it would be a good move for Eriksen because returning to play in the Premier League is not a new challenge or a step up as the Gunners are below Spurs in the table.
