A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs-focused Twitter account @Daily_Hotspur which relayed the alleged news that Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a renewed attempt to sign Spurs’ attacking midfielder Dele Alli on loan in the January transfer window.
This comes after the BBC’s Simon Stone wrote an article in which he explained that Thomas Tuchel’s side tried to sign the 24-year-old in the summer transfer window, only for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to refuse to agree on a deal.
The £46.8m-rated Englishman has fallen out of favour at the north London club under Jose Mourinho, having started just one Premier League game so far in the 2020/21 campaign, and according to this report from the BBC, Alli is ‘hugely frustrated’ with his current situation at Tottenham.
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to this January transfer claim on Dele Alli?

Some Spurs fans indicated that they think Alli’s form could improve if he was to join PSG.
Imagine he becomes unreal and we sell him for 80m.

Yes because we all know his talent, and if there’s a chance he gets back to his best, we want him. And if we don’t want him, we could sell him at a higher price

Great deal all round. They’ll be a reasonable if not substantial loan deal, which means they must think he’ll feature heavily. He’ll be in a winning team with arguably better players primed and ready for next season at spurs, he’ll then be like another signing. All for this #dele

Would you like to see Alli leave Spurs on loan in January?
All in all, judging by these tweets, it doesn’t seem as though there would be too many objections to a January loan move for Alli from Lilywhites supporters.
