Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs-focused Twitter account @TalkingTHFC which relays Marca Claro’s claim that Spurs centre-back Davinson Sanchez has been ‘erased’ at Tottenham Hotspur, which is causing some concern for the Colombian national team.

After claiming that the £40.5m-rated centre-back has been ‘erased’ at the north London club in a recent article, Marca Claro published another piece which elaborated on its view of Sanchez’s situation at Tottenham.

It explained that Sanchez hasn’t featured in a Premier League game since 18th October, when he played the full 90 minutes in the Lilywhites’ 3-3 draw with West Ham United, and that in the last month, he’s enjoyed the fifth-highest number of minutes on the pitch of any Tottenham centre-back.

After this publication’s claim that Sanchez has been ‘erased’ at Tottenham was relayed on Twitter by @TalkingTHFC, it caught the attention of many Spurs supporters.

So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to this claim on Davinson Sanchez?

Many Spurs fans replied to this tweet to share some criticism of the news, with one fan even labelling it as a ‘disgrace’.

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

However, some other Spurs supporters replied to this tweet to share that they think it’s a bit over the top to say that Sanchez has been ‘erased’ given that he played the entirety of Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Ludogorets in the UEFA Europa League last Thursday

Do you think Sanchez will become a regular starter for Spurs again?

NO

So, given that Sanchez did feature for Spurs in the Europa League last Thursday, perhaps it would be unfair to say that he’s been completely cast aside by the Lilywhites but it certainly appears as though the Colombia international has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham of late, given his lack of recent Premier League game time.
