Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been sharing their thoughts on Moussa Sissoko’s latest performance for the north London club.
Spurs welcomed Leicester City to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to try and bounce back after their midweek defeat to Liverpool, but a goal from Jamie Vardy and an own goal from Toby Alderweireld secured all three points for Brendan Rodgers’ side (per BBC Sport).
Sissoko’s performance, in particular, caught the attention of a lot of Spurs fans – but for all the wrong reasons.
So, what did these Spurs fans make of Sissoko’s performance against Leicester?
How does Sissoko play for us? I’m surely missing something?
He can’t pass a ball, he’s never scored a goal, he’s garbage— Andrew Mead (@Meady1975Y) December 20, 2020
Sissoko is garbage

Sissoko, Winks, Lucas, all need to be sold in January

He should never have played on the right, sissoko needs to be dropped if him and ndombele play together

Do you think Sissoko should be sold in January?
Yes
No
Times like this I hope people realise how awful sissoko is at football, literally is just a runner. Shocking,

Sissoko has been atrocious. Aurier made a mistake but he wasn’t awful.
Such a shambles— NANA YAW ?? (@UnDa_YaW) December 20, 2020
I don’t think there’s a word to describe sissoko other than terrible

Looking at these tweets from this group of Spurs fans, it’s clear that they were not happy with what they saw from the Frenchman against Leicester.
With Football.london giving the midfielder a match rating of 4/10 saying that he “always looked nervy in possession, needing an extra touch and his defending for Leicester’s second goal was woeful,” it’s apparent that these Spurs fans were right about his performance.
Hopefully, Sissoko, who is currently valued at £16.2 million, and Spurs can move on from this run of defeats and try and get back to winning ways in their next league fixture against Wolves.
