Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report that claimed the club are interested in a January move for Atletico Madrid centre-forward, Diego Costa.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Atletico Madrid have decided they will not renew Costa’s contract at the club ahead of its expiry next summer, and will sell the 32-year-old forward if they receive a decent offer in January.
And, a recent report by a Spanish publication has claimed that Tottenham, Everton and Napoli are all potential destinations for the £9 million-rated Spanish international.
So far this season, Costa has struggled for game time somewhat at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, starting just two La Liga games for Diego Simeone’s side.
