A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a post from their club that confirms that Heung-min Son has won the Korean Football Association’s Player of the Year for 2020.
The 28-year-old has been in sizzling form for Spurs this season as he has banged in 13 goals in all competitions and also provided seven assists.
He is also captain of his country and has now made 89 appearances for South Korea and scored 26 goals, so it is probably no real surprise that he won Player of the Year.
Certainly, these Spurs fans are not shocked at this award for Son.

This has been a very good start to the season from Son, who is closing in on 100 goals for Spurs as he is currently on 98.
Looking at what he has done for Spurs in just this season alone, it is no surprise that he has won South Korea’s Player of the Year award and we will be interested to see if this time next year he has won it again.
