Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from Spurs winger Erik Lamela.
This comes after Spurs news Twitter account @thespursweb shared a post on their page relaying a post originally shared by Lamela on his official Instagram page.
The post contained an image of Lamela during a first-team training session with the rest of his teammates with the caption saying that he is “finally” back with the team after being out injured.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their responses at seeing Lamela back in training.

Spurs signed Lamela back in August 2013 from AS Roma for a fee of £27 million.

Since then, the 28-year-old, who is currently valued at £14.4 million, has made 232 appearances for the north London club in which he has managed to score 35 goals and provide 46 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s good to see that these Spurs fans are happy to see Lamela back in training after recovering from his latest injury.
Given how Lamela has picked up a season rating of 6.73/10 for his performances in the Premier League so far this season, which is higher than Gareth Bale, Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn, it’s not surprising these Spurs fans are looking forward to seeing the Argentine back in action for the club.
