Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently reacted to some comments from Jose Mourinho regarding Dele Alli which recently emerged on Twitter.

On Wednesday night, Spurs sealed their passage to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup by defeating Championship side Stoke City 3-1 (per Transfermarkt).

During his post-match press conference after the match, the north London club’s Portuguese manager discussed the English midfielder.

He said: “For me, a player that plays in that position is a player that has to link and has to create and not to create problems for his own team.”

These comments were relayed to fans on social media by the Evening Standard journalist James Robson and they had lots of fans talking.
