Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have reacted to some injury news on Liverpool’s Portuguese attacker, Diogo Jota.

On Sunday, Football.london relayed an article which shared some quotes from Jurgen Klopp in which he revealed that the 24-year-old forward would be absent for the Reds’ match with Spurs on Wednesday.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the German manager stated that Jota had picked up a knee injury in the 1-1 draw with FC Midtjylland in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Klopp said: “It’s worse than we first thought but better than what we [later] thought. The potential surgeons had a look at it and no surgery is needed, but he will be out for a while.”
