Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been reacting to recently posted footage from the club’s U23 side’s recent game against Chelsea’s U23s. 

This comes after Spurs news Twitter account @thespursweb shared a post on their page that contained footage from the north London club’s 3-2 defeat.

The footage showed Spurs player Harvey White play a long ball up to Dane Scarlett who then headed the ball past Petr Cech, who was playing in goal for Chelsea’s U23 side on the night, to put the Lilywhites 2-0 up.

In the post, the Spurs page said that Cech had “no chance” of saving the effort from Scarlett.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their responses to this footage.

Despite going 2-0 up thanks to this goal from Scarlett, Spurs ended up losing the game thanks to three goals from Chelsea in the second half.

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Spurs fans were very impressed by the linkup play that was shown in the footage from White and Scarlett, with some suggesting the duo will go on to have big futures at the club, with one fan even comparing the duo to Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

With Kane and Son Spurs’ top two goalscorers in the Premier League at this moment in time, this is definitely a huge compliment to White and Scarlett.
