Tottenham Hotspur were left frustrated on Sunday evening as they were forced to settle for a point against Wolves at Molineux.

Spurs took the lead through Tanguy Ndombele, as the midfielder fired home from distance after just 57 seconds. Wolves had the better of the chances from then on, and had a considerable amount of possession in the second half.

The home side made that pressure count late on as well, as Romain Saiss headed home from a corner with just four minutes of normal time remaining.

Speaking in a recent post-match interview after the draw with Wolves, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho remained tight-lipped when question on Tottenham’s lack of attacking threat at times.

“I don’t want to say much. I know how I prefer the team. I know what I say at half time. I know what I ask for the players. I don’t want to say more.”

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters took to social media to react to Mourinho’s recent comments.

Take a look at the best of the reaction from Twitter below.

“Blaming the players again! He’s a broken record! Do one! Get a young manager in, who wants to play positive football! Anyone who thinks this is now the players doing the opposite to what Jose’s asking of them, are deluded, and never played the game at any decent standard!”

“This itself proves he asked them to attack and they didn’t.”

“But us as fans deserve to know why we are setting up like this and not getting the results. It’s not good enough. Honestly, if we don’t win trophies this year, how do we keep Kane.”

“The special one not taking the blame. Why are people shocked? We’ve seen this bus wreck before.”

Considering Spurs are now without a league win in four attempts, it is perhaps no surprise fans are starting to get irritated with Mourinho as results continue to take a turn for the worse.
