A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a post from Alasdair Gold on Harry Winks, who walked straight down the tunnel after he was substituted during Spurs’ 2-0 win over Royal Antwerp in the Europa League.
Winks was brought off in the 59th minute to be replaced by Tanguy Ndombele and went straight down the tunnel rather than sit on the bench as fellow substitutes Gareth Bale and Carlos Vinicius did.
After the game, Jose Mourinho played down the incident, but that did not stop these Spurs fans from having their say on Winks and his reaction to being brought off.
What did these Tottenham fans think of Harry Winks’ reaction?
He’s atrocious. Hopefully the beginning of the end for him at Spurs.

Do you think Winks should have walked off?
No, shows a lack of respect
Yes, he can do what he likes
Winks didn’t play that well as he only averaged a 6.74/10 rating from WhoScored for his performance against the Belgian side, and that was poor enough to rank him as Spurs’ joint-sixth worst player in that game.
However, it is understandable that he was disappointed, and the fact that Mourinho played it down suggests there probably isn’t really an issue.
Many Tottenham fans, though, continued to have their say.
Problem is he’s championship quality. Simple as

Wouldn’t be bothered if there was tbh alasdair he’s been a great servant to the club and ill always have a soft spot for him but he’s out of his depth in this squad if he wants game time he needs to move on.

Genuinely didn’t notice he was on the pitch.

It is unclear what will happen next, but given that Winks has not played in the Premier League since October, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him not feature in Tottenham’s next game against Crystal Palace.
