Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been going wild over some recently posted footage of former Lilywhites midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.
This comes after the official Spurs Twitter account shared a post ahead of the upcoming showdown against Arsenal that contained footage of Van der Vaart scoring against the Gunners during the 3-3 draw between the two clubs back in 2011.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans, who were quick to share their responses to this footage.

Two years later, Spurs sold the midfielder to Hamburg for a fee of £11.7 million after he made 77 appearances for the north London club, in which he managed to score 28 goals and provide 18 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

From day one he got what it meant to play for Spurs. The greatest signing Levy made. I just wish we had more seasons with Rafa. If half our team had his passion we’d be ok.
