Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been buzzing at the latest comments from Sergio Reguilon that recently emerged on social media.
Reguilon recently gave an interview to Spanish outlet AS and he discussed whether he has talked to Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane. The Spanish left-back said he isn’t talking to Zidane and he didn’t do it even before he joined Spurs. He also revealed that he wasn’t hurt or surprised by the fact that he had to leave the Santiago Bernabeu-based side.

Reguilon had joined Spurs from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window for a fee which could rise to £32 million. Having said, Los Blancos have a buyback clause in the contract and they can re-sign the Spaniard in either the summer of 2021 or 2022 and Spurs could end up making a profit of around £15million. The Spaniard is valued at £25.2m.
Last season, Reguilon was voted as the best left-back in La Liga. Whether Reguilon’s comments about Zidane mean anything about his potential return to Real remains to be seen and some other Spurs fans also discussed the Spaniard’s comments.
