Alasdair Gold has been speaking on a Twitter video from Tottenham News with fellow Football.london reporter Rob Guest.

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? 1. Who is Spurs' top scorer in all competitions so far this season?

The video’s main topic was Spurs’ 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the north London derby, but Gold also spent time talking about various players and other topics.

Gold spent a little bit of time on Gareth Bale, who has only started one Premier League game since he returned to Spurs in the last transfer window on loan from Real Madrid.

However, Gold is hoping to see more of Bale over the Christmas and New Year period.

He said: “He’ll get there.

“I feel with Bale, we will see the best of him Christmas/New Year, and I think we will start to see what he’s made of.”

Do you think Gold will be right about Bale?

No, it will be longer

No, it will be longer

Yes, that sounds about right

TIF Thoughts on Gold’s view on Bale…

The Welsh international recently claimed that he was still trying to work his way back to full fitness.

In his only start in the league so far, against West Bromwich Albion, he actually turned in a decent performance of 6.7/10 (as per WhoScored).

However, despite that, he hasn’t featured in Tottenham’s last three Premier League games, which have seen them beat Manchester City 2-0, draw with Chelsea 0-0, and beat Arsenal 2-0.

So we will have to see if Gold’s prediction on Bale comes true or if it will be a little bit longer before Jose Mourinho unleashes a fully-fit Bale on the Premier League.

Given just how good a player he is, combining him with Heung-min Son and Harry Kane, who are in sublime form, could hand Tottenham a seriously scary attack.

So, we hope that Tottenham fans get to see a fully-fit Bale around the time Gold has predicted.
