Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Alasdair Gold claimed that Hugo Lloris could start in goal for Spurs against Arsenal on Sunday.

In his post, Gold stated that he would have to alter his predicted line up for the north London derby, as ‘currently it looks like Hugo Lloris will be able to start’ against Arsenal.

So, what did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to Alasdair Gold’s update on Hugo Lloris’ fitness?

It had been reported that Lloris was a doubt for the clash against Arsenal, and that Joe Hart, who conceded three goals in the Europa League against LASK on Thursday, was in line to make his Premier League debut for Jose Mourinho’s side against the club’s arch-rivals.

However, following Gold’s recent tweet, it would now appear that Hart’s league debut will have to be put on hold, as Lloris seems to have passed a late fitness test, something which has clearly delighted many Spurs fans.

All in all, it would appear that Gold’s news regarding Lloris has delighted these Spurs fans, with some claiming that the goalkeeper’s previously predicted absence from the fixture is evidence of Mourinho’s mind games, while others simply celebrated the news.
