Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Alasdair Gold discussed the players featuring in a Spurs training session.
In his post, Gold stated that Tanguy Ndombele was back in training for the club, however, that none of Serge Aurier, Erik Lamela or Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg appeared to be taking part in the session.
So what did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to Alasdair Gold’s update?
If Hojbjerg is injured we’re finished

No Pierre??? pic.twitter.com/t5P7Bal0Xf
— Lord Hojbjerg (@GHojbjerg) December 9, 2020
Since arriving at Tottenham from Southampton in what was a £14.94 million deal back in August, Hojbjerg has been ever-present over the 11 Premier League fixtures Spurs have played, averaging a highly impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.02 – ranking the £22.5 million-rated 25-year-old as Jose Mourinho’s fifth-best player in the top flight.
Do you think that Hojbjerg has been Tottenham's signing of the season so far?
Yes
No
However, with it appearing that the defensive midfielder was absent from Tottenham’s training session on Wednesday, many fans of the club have flocked to Twitter to share their worries, particularly as the club have a top-of-the-table clash against Liverpool coming up this weekend.
Hopefully it’s just a rest for Pierre but worrying https://t.co/x2NgWdY9Ci

All in all, it would appear that these Tottenham fans are devastated to hear that Hojbjerg was not present in training for the club on Wednesday, with some stating their belief that, if the midfielder is injured, Spurs are finished, while others prayed that Mourinho had simply afforded the Dane a rest.
