A lot of Newcastle United fans have been criticising Toon right-back Emil Krafth, who started the North East club’s most recent Premier League game versus West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Krafth had made just two other Premier League appearances for the Toon this term prior to today’s clash, which saw the Sweden international make his first top-flight appearance for the North East club since their 4-1 loss to Manchester United on 17th October.
In their live blog following this match, ChronicleLive criticised the Toon’s defending at points in this game and it would seem as though Krafth, in particular, stood out as one of the North East club’s weak links in that area, judging by these Newcastle supporters’ tweets.
So, what did these Newcastle United fans have to say about Emil Krafth’s performance in this game?
I know we’re 1-0 up v WBA, but, Emile Krafth is NOT a Premier Lge quality RB. I take it as read whoever “signed” Joelinton for £40m? is equally as guilty for signing Krafth.

For someone named Kraft, you’d think he’d be better.

Many Toon fans slated the £3.6m-rated man’s quality, with one particular Newcastle supporter stating that the 26-year-old’s defending was ‘shocking’ versus the Baggies and another Toon supporter going so far as to say that Krafth is ‘one of the worst players’ they’ve seen in the Toon’s colours.
Krafth and Lewis shocking defending !! #nufc

Both full backs were useless for the goal. Krafth is the worst player I’ve seen play for Newcastle.

How bad is Krafth. Absolutely dreadful in all aspects of the game

Every time I see Krafth touch the ball a part of me dies inside

Murphy been on the pitch 2 minutes and put a better ball in than Krafth has managed all game. Krafth should never get a game again. Awful player

Krafth’s far too slow at getting forward. There’s bags of space on that right hand side and we’re continually having to hold it up and wait for support. #NUFC #NEWWBA

Was Krafth Newcastle's worst player versus West Brom?
YES
NO
Krafth couldn’t cross a ball if his life depended on it. #nufc

Shelvey and Krafth need hooked. Awful footballers

So, it’s clear from these Newcastle fans’ tweets that Krafth’s performance in Saturday’s game has not earned him much popularity amongst the Toon faithful.
