Newcastle United: Fans react to latest club post

Many Newcastle United fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to the latest post from the club.

This comes after the official Newcastle Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained a video of Toon defender Ciaran Clark talking with the club’s media looking ahead to their Boxing Day Premier League fixture against Manchester City.

During the video, Clark described the clash against Pep Guardiola’s side as “massive” game and that they need to try and prepare themselves and “mentally focus” for it.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Newcastle fans who were quick to share their thoughts on Clark’s latest comments.

Looking at some of these replies from this group of Newcastle fans, it appears that this post has split the opinions of these supporters with some feeling rather optimistic and positive towards Clark and the rest of the team, whereas others feel the opposite.

With the Tyneside club heading into this league coming off the back of a disappointing defeat against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, a win against City would no doubt be a massive boost for everyone at the club.
