Newcastle United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from Nick De Marco, one of the lawyers hired by Toon owner Mike Ashley to help him get the green light for the previously failed Saudi-led takeover of the club.
This comes after De Marco shared a post on his official Twitter account saying that he has had to leave his seaside apartment in Hove due to a “heavy” three weeks of work ahead of him.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Newcastle fans who were quick to share their responses to this post from De Marco.

Back in November, it was revealed that the Tyneside club had launched legal action against the Premier League due to the failed takeover bid back in July.

The club claimed that the Premier League broke a confidentiality clause when it “leaked the contents” of a letter about the proceedings to a supporter group (per BBC Sport).

Now that the lawyer has shared this post onto his Twitter page, this led to lots of Toon fans responding to his post with their reactions.

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Toon fans are all excited by what De Marco had to say about there being a heavy three weeks of work ahead of him.
As some Newcastle fans pointed out in their replies, De Marco could well be referring to the work he could be doing with the court case the club are currently involved in, which suggests that the next few weeks will be a crucial time for it.
In our view, if De Marco can help get Ashley and these Newcastle fans the result they want, then they would no doubt be very thankful for his work.
