Easy one to get us underway, in what month during 2019 was Steve Bruce appointed Newcastle manager?

During the press conference, Bruce admitted that the club are in a “bad situation” at the moment but also said that he has a plan to get them out of it.

This post from Ryder then gathered a lot of replies from Newcastle fans who were quick to share their thoughts on these latest comments from Bruce.

So, what did these Newcastle fans make of this post?

“I hope his plan is to leave”

@lukeevans01

“Good joke”

@agbnufc_

“We’re screwed!”

@nixa_r

“I’m scared”

@lil_josh92

“Not seen a plan for 18 month….”

@CraignNE40

“Shouldn’t this ‘plan’ have been in place all along then!”

@steves5uk

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Newcastle fans aren’t particularly reassured by Bruce’s claim that he has a plan to get the club out of the current sticky situation they are in.

Do you think Newcastle should sack Steve Bruce?

Yes

Yes

No

No

With the club currently sat in 12th place in the league table, coming off the back of a defeat against Championship side Brentford and about to take on City who have not finished a league season outside of the top four since the 2009/10 season, it’s not exactly surprising that these Toon fans are not encouraged by Bruce’s comments.
