Looking at the replies to this post from the official Newcastle Twitter account, it’s clear to see that this group of Newcastle fans are over the moon at seeing Fernandez back in training. This shows that they have a lot of love and respect for the 31-year-old and that they see him as an important member of their squad.
Given that Fernandez has made more blocks per game (1.7) this season than any other Newcastle player, it comes as no surprise that these Toon fans feel this way about the defender.
