While Bruce claimed that his side has to perform like it did against Manchester City, the north-east club was defeated 2-0 by Pep Guardiola’s outfit (per BBC).

In that outing, the Toon saw just 25% of the possession during the game and mustered a measly two shots on target, while conceding 12 fouls.

“I’m speechless. The man is clueless. If he honestly thinks having 12% possession in the 2nd half of football is a great performance, we’ve seriously got no hope. The sooner you go bruce the better. Seriously speechless.”
