He said: “It’s Blues fans, West Brom, Wolves and then Leeds for some reason. I’m not sure why Leeds fans. I can obviously understand the ones that are close to us and rivals. It’s all just banter at the end of the day.”

So, what did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Jack Grealish’s comments?

Grealish has highly impressed for Aston Villa so far this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists over his 10 Premier League appearances, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.95 – ranking him as Villa’s best player in the top flight.

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Leeds fans dislike Grealish because of what they perceive to be his inability to stay on his feet.

However, considering the fact that the £40.5 million-rated midfielder has been fouled 4.6 times on average per match so far this season, by far and away the most any player has been impeded in the Premier League, perhaps this could explain why it appears Grealish spends a great deal of time on the floor.
