A lot of Leeds United fans have been responding to a tweet that has been posted by Leeds-focused Twitter account @liveleedsunited which shared a report in which the possibility of Whites striker Rodrigo returning to the starting XI was discussed.
Rodrigo joined Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the summer transfer window for £27m from La Liga side Valencia.
However, he has started just three of the Yorkshire club’s 11 Premier League games so far this term, with Rodrigo either not making the matchday squad or failing to make the starting XI in each of the Whites’ last five top-flight fixtures, after the Spaniard had to self-isolate in early November.
In this article from LeedsLive, though, it is claimed that Leeds have struggled in terms of chance conversion in recent games and it’s claimed that bringing Rodrigo, who is described as one of Leeds’ ‘most skilled’ players, back into the starting XI would help Leeds to solve that problem and plenty of Leeds supporters have been sharing their thoughts on the possibility of Rodrigo returning to their club’s starting XI in response to @leedsunitedlive’s tweet.
So, how did these Leeds United fans react to this report on Rodrigo?
Rodrigo has played less than one half of football over the last three games in which #LUFC have struggled to convert chances.
Time to re-introduce the club-record signing?https://t.co/1AlZNDCart

Many Whites fans replied to this post to share that they think it’s time for the £27m-rated attacker to be reintroduced to Leeds’ starting XI.

I understand not changing a winning team that includes Alioski, given how well he played vs Arsenal and Everton. But he looked like one of the weaker links vs Chelsea and Rodrigo is literally UCL quality. Can’t afford to leave him out for too long. Need him and Raphinha together.

Would be good to see Rodrigo used more , we also need to see the likes of Klich & Harrision finishing their many chances….

Yes definitely, Rodrigo should be in the starting eleven. Drop Harrison and Alioski, Dallas at left back and get Costa in switching flanks with Raphinha during the game. Harrison needs a wake-up call and Alioski not good enough as a winger.

Defo needs more game time.i guess its just fitting him in the system right.if not it seems like a pointless purchase.

Absolutely . Should be one of the first on the team sheet imo

Judging by the replies to this tweet, it’s clear that many Whites fans are in favour of Rodrigo being brought back into Leeds’ starting XI and it will be interesting to see if Bielsa shares a similar view to them and acts accordingly.
