Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed the comments of Mateusz Klich looking ahead to the club’s fixture against Burnley this Sunday.

Speaking to the official Leeds United website, Klich stated his belief that Sean Dyche’s side are a ‘very hard’ team to beat and that the fixture will be a ‘hard game to play’, before suggesting that his side are ‘going to have to go for it’ if they want to get anything out of the match.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

So far this season, the £3.15 million-rated midfielder has started every league game for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, over which he has scored three goals and provided four assists, as well as averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.76 – ranking him as the club’s eighth-best performer in the top flight.

However, despite these admirable performances, after the Leeds United Twitter account relayed the 30-year-old’s comments on Twitter, some fans of the club appeared less than pleased with Klich’s recent displays for the side.

Do you think that Klich should be dropped for the Burnley game?

So, what exactly did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Mateusz Klich’s comments?

“Perhaps if you don’t lose your man twice in the first 3 minutes, we won’t end up 2-0 down!”

@MikeyWatts5

“I hope Klich is nowhere near the starting 11 on Sunday. He’s been poor in a lot of games recently!”

@CarlRichard70

“Hope he’s dropped.. Not turned up for any game so far this season”

@padstony

“Well remember how to pass by Sunday then”

@jotunthrash666

@lufcxjack2

All in all, it would appear that the majority of these Leeds fans are hoping that they don’t see Klich in the starting XI for the club on Sunday, with many calling for the midfielder to be dropped by Bielsa, while others simply stated how poor they felt the 30-year-old has been in recent weeks.
