Many Leeds United supporters have flocked to Twitter to react to a post from Kalvin Phillips in which he shared some images from the defeat at Chelsea.
In his message on Tuesday afternoon, Phillips suggested that there were positives to take from the game at Stamford Bridge and that he was looking forward to Leeds’ clash on Friday night against West Ham United.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were beaten by Frank Lampard’s Blues despite taking the lead through Patrick Bamford inside four minutes (as per BBC Sport). Olivier Giroud, Kurt Zouma and Christian Pulisic scored for the hosts to condemn the Whites to their fifth defeat of the Premier League campaign.
Despite the disappointing result from a Leeds perspective, Phillips gave a good account of himself and according to WhoScored, his performance rating was an impressive 7.38/10.
What did these Leeds fans make of Kalvin Phillips’ Twitter post?

It’s clear from the above responses that these Leeds fans were proud of Phillips and his teammates despite the result. So far in the Premier League, the centre-midfielder has earned a solid average performance rating of 7.03/10 and his displays have even seen him win his first international caps for England – further proof, in our view, that he looks at home in the top flight.
