A lot of Leeds United fans have flocked to a post from Jermaine Beckford on Wednesday night.
The post was about Leeds’ 5-2 thrashing of Newcastle United and followed on from suggestions made by Trevor Sinclair on TalkSport that Leeds were starting to look tired in some of their previous matches.
Beckford used this post to laugh about that and also tag Sinclair in the post, with the ex-England midfielder taking the dig in good spirits.
This tweet from the former Leeds man drew the attention of a lot of Whites fans who are not happy with pundits claiming that they look tired.
What did these Leeds fans think of Beckford’s tweet?
Some nay MOST pundits this season have been stealing their wages where LUFC are concerned. Lazy summaries, lack of research, shocking short sighted knowledge of MBs work. What to do….lol

He should be that embarrassed he donates his pay to a Leeds charity.
Some pundits hear something and then jump on the bandwagon and spouting likes it’s the gospel, without doing any back ground work on the subject. Embarrassing!— MCC1 (@1amcc) December 16, 2020
That’s the feeling clueless pundits have when they watch #lufc #energy

Do you think Leeds look tired?
No, not at all
Yes, in a couple of games
Other Whites fans, though, saw the funny side of the post.
They won’t keep this up for 90 minutes ???

Leeds proved that they were anything but tired as two of their goals against Newcastle came from counter-attacks and were in the last ten minutes of the game.
So, any suggestion that they looked tired was blown away by this performance, especially the fourth goal.
Leeds turned over the ball on the edge of their own area and launched an attack that ended in a 5v2 scenario that was finished off by Ezgjan Alioski.
So, though Beckford was probably just having a bit of fun, his tweet certainly proved a point to the likes of Sinclair as the Whites showed that they had plenty of energy in the tank.
