Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Facebook, which relayed a report containing comments made by Burnley defender, Charlie Taylor.

Speaking to Burnley FC’s Clarets Plus (via Yorkshire Evening Post) ahead of the club’s clash with Leeds this weekend, the former United defender stated that the fixture ‘was the first game’ he looked for when the Premier League schedule was announced, before claiming that he was ‘hugely looking forward’ to facing his former side.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

Taylor played 103 times for Leeds, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists over a five-year spell in the United first team, before leaving Elland Road on a free transfer in the summer of 2017, and subsequently joining Burnley.

And, after the Yorkshire Evening Post shared Taylor’s quotes on Facebook, fans of the Whites flocked to have their say on the left-back.

So, what exactly did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Charlie Taylor’s comments?

All in all, it would appear that many of these Leeds United fans are still rather bitter about the way Taylor left the club back in 2017, with some stating their belief that the left-back is a money-grabber for joining Burnley, while others simply claimed the defender’s departure from Leeds left a bad taste in their mouth.

Interestingly, the club even opened disciplinary action on the defender.
