Supporters of Leeds United have recently reacted to news regarding Charlie Allen which was shared on social media by the Whites.
On Monday afternoon, it was revealed by the Elland Road outfit that the youngster had signed his first professional contract with the club (per Leeds United).
The deal which the 17-year-old attacking midfielder has put pen to paper on will last for two-and-a-half years and will keep him at the club until the summer of 2023.
This comes after United signed the player back in August for an undisclosed fee from Northern Irish side Linfield.
After this news was relayed on Twitter by the club, it had lots of Leeds fans talking.

Speaking to Leeds after signing his deal, the youngster said: “I feel like my game has evolved over the few months I have been here, I just want to keep getting as many minutes as I can, hopefully, play for the under-23s and of course. the ultimate goal is to play first-team football.”

So far this season, Allen has made six appearances for the under-18s in the U18 Premier League and three for the under-23s in the Premier League 2 and Papa John’s Trophy (per Transfermarkt).
Over those appearances, the 17-year-old Northern Irishman has managed to bag one assist for the Whites.
