Leeds United picked up a well-deserved three points on Tuesday evening, as they thrashed West Brom 5-0.
The Whites took the lead through a bizarre own goal from West Brom midfielder Romaine Sawyers, before Ezgjan Alioski doubled that lead shortly after with a well-worked goal.
Jack Harrison made it 3-0, before Rodrigo scored his second goal of the season just before half-time. Raphinha scored Leeds’ fifth after 72 minutes.
Leeds are now sat 11th in the Premier League table, and will be hoping they can build on this hugely impressive showing heading into the New Year.
One player that was substituted in the second-half was midfielder Mateusz Klich, who was replaced by Jamie Shackleton with 32 minutes remaining of the contest.
Plenty of the Elland Road faithful took to social media to voice their frustrations over Klich’s performance against the Baggies at The Hawthorns.
