Supporters of Leeds United have recently reacted to some comments from Marcelo Bielsa which were relayed by The Athletic reporter Phil Hay.
During the upcoming round of Premier League fixtures, the Whites travel to Old Trafford to take on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United (per Premier League).
In his pre-match press conference ahead of the trip to Manchester, Bielsa spent some time talking about Pablo Hernandez (per Phil Hay).
The Argentine manager claimed to know that it was ‘tough‘ for players that are not currently getting first-team minutes.
This was relayed to social media by Hay and it had lots of supporters talking.
So, what did these Leeds fans have to say about Marcelo Bielsa’s comments on Pablo Hernandez?
A little bit on Hernandez as well. Bielsa said he understands that it's tough for players who aren't getting minutes. Also said that commentary of a foreign game recently reminded him that it can be frustrating for players when they're substituted or don't feature. #lufc

Changed the game in his little cameo the other night. The players seem so much calmer with him on the pitch. Both passes for his assists were quality too, others may take the wrong decision in those scenarios

Pablo was outstanding in a few mins against Newcastle…. He’s a lynchpin player for me….and I reckon Bielsa is fully aware of his contributions and capabilities, but he’s the gaffer, and that’s that….

During Leeds’ recent 5-2 victory against Newcastle United, the Spaniard was brought on late in the second half and still managed to provide two assists (per WhoScored).
Should Pablo Hernandez be getting more first-team minutes for Leeds?
No, he's not good enough
Yes, he's a class player
I’m glad pablos back in the fold showed how important he can be against Newcastle two assists well I’m giving him the one for Jack even though it was all Jack’s making ?

If those players who aren’t getting used can offer what is needed in a particular part of a game… Bielsa will use them! Hence Dallas… Mr versatile! Can play anywhere just about. Looking forward to suring up the defence though!

Thought it was telling on the 4th goal that Hernandez was the player played in first. The obvious ball was to the left but the players seem to seek out Pablo first

Over the duration of the season so far, the 35-year-old midfielder has made just five Premier League appearances for the Whites and his only goal involvements have been the two against the Toon.
In those five outings, Hernandez’s showings have been fairly uninspiring as he has delivered a weak 6.30/10 average rating, making him the Whites’ fifth-worst performer this term.
It’s great to see that Pablo is back involved.
It just proves how important he is to this Leeds side. #LUFC https://t.co/LeQJDRveNo

As can be seen in what these Leeds fans had to say, many of them were delighted that the Spaniard is getting minutes for the Whites’ first team again.
