A number of Leeds United supporters have called on Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul to sign for the club in the January transfer window.
The Yorkshire-based side were linked with a move for the 26-year-old in the summer, although a move failed to materialise for one reason or another.
De Paul went on to feature for the Italian side at the weekend, and played his part as they ran out narrow 3-2 winners over Torino, as they moved up to tenth in Serie A. The midfielder was on the scoresheet as well, as he fired home their second goal on the day, to give his side much-needed breathing space at the time.
Leeds United’s recent slump in form continued on Friday evening though, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against West Ham United at Elland Road. The Whites have now won just once in their last six matches, which has seen them drop to 14th in the Premier League table heading into the hectic festive schedule.
It remains to be seen as to whether Leeds will make their move for De Paul once again, but it’s fair to say that a number of the Elland Road faithful are keen to see the midfielder sign for the club, as they responded to his latest social post after Udinese’s win over Torino.

Leeds are set to return to action on Wednesday evening, when they host Newcastle United, who are just one place above them in the top-flight standings.
A defeat to the Magpies could see further pressure from the Elland Road faithful, for the club to invest in new signings in the January transfer window.
