A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a post from their club that has confirmed that Robin Koch will undergo surgery on his knee after suffering an injury against Chelsea at the weekend.
The post also includes a link to an article on their website that claims that the German injured his knee against Liverpool on the opening game of the season but under advice from the medical department, continued to play.
Now, though, he will have to undergo surgery, and it is unclear how long he could be out for.
Either way, many Leeds fans are gutted with this news.
What do these Leeds fans think of this injury update?
Such a shame, he’s been getting better and better this season which is even more impressive if he’s been managing a knock. Wishing him a speedy recovery!

Do you think Leeds will miss Koch?
Yes, he has been important for us
No, we will be fine
The 24-year-old lasted just nine minutes against the Blues before he was replaced by Diego Llorente, who made his first appearance for the Whites since he signed from Real Sociedad.
Leeds also have Pascal Struijk, Oliver Casey, and Liam Cooper in the squad who are natural centre-backs, as well as numerous others who can also play there if required, so there are options to replace Koch while he is injured.
This post continued to draw in Leeds fans, who are disappointed with the news.
Massive loss, been absolutely outstanding for us. Hope he’s able to come back asap.

Based on his match ratings so far, Koch has had a rather inconsistent start to life in the Premier League (as per WhoScored), but Marcelo Bielsa had still started him in every league game since his arrival, so he was obviously doing something right.
It is clear that many Whites fans are gutted that Koch is now injured and they will just have to hope he is not out for too long.
