Many Leeds United fans have been talking about an admission from Patrick Bamford that recently emerged on social media.

Bamford was recently talking on the Ornstein and Chapman Podcast and he discussed how Marcelo Bielsa wants him to improve as a player. The Englishman revealed that the Whites boss is regularly sending him videos of Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.

He said that the videos of the Norwegian are 15 minutes long and Bamford has to watch them to see how he can improve himself on the pitch (via TEAMTalk).

This update was relayed on Twitter by journalist James Marshment and it caught the attention of many Leeds fans, who began talking about the news.

Starting with an easy one what shirt number does Bamford wear for Leeds United?

One fan even claimed that Bamford learning from videos of Erling Haaland has saved the club £150 million, which could be down to the fact that the striker was reportedly valued at €150 million (£130 million) earlier on this year.

Bamford has done well in the Premier League this season and has found the back of the net eight times already. He also has two assists in his bag (as per Transfermarkt).

As for Haaland, he was born in Leeds and his father – Alf-Inge Haaland, was a former Leeds player too. Some other Leeds fans also began talking about the update involving Bamford.

While some Leeds fans are dreaming about the possibility of their club signing Haaland in the future, the Norwegian is currently valued at £90 million and that makes it tough for the Whites to sign him.

As for Bamford, he is currently the fifth-highest scorer in the Premier League this season and he has a goals per 90 minutes record of 0.77 so far. That is a clear improvement on his record of 0.42 in the Championship last season (as per FBRef).

So perhaps, learning from Haaland’s video clips seems to be working and Bamford has certainly improved as a striker this season.
